Ogaden War - Snaps from a life ill-spent
With Western Somali Liberation Front (WSLF) irregulars on the Dire Dawa front. The Somalis took a terrible beating from Cuban artillery and aerial assaults. A third of the initial Somali National Army invasion force was killed. The war left Somalia disorganized and demoralized.
